I have trouble keeping the wheel true and recently have a lot of broken spokes and a cracked rim. It is also hard to pedal because of motor drag and I want to be able to ride it without the power on or if the battery went flat. I can’t do that now. I am interested to know a few things 1. What is the weight of the front wheel hub motor? 2. You can see my bike has the front wheel a much further distance from the handlebars.Can you supply this hub motor kit with longer wires - or extension wires with appropriate connectors - so the wires can be routed under the cargo area and up to handlebars? 3. Is the voltage programmable with your system? (My existing motor can be)(I have a big battery pack) 4. I have hydraulic disc brakes on my bike and want to be sure this is compatible with disc rotors A: 1. The net weight of this motor is 7.25kg 2. Yes. When you order on our site,just leave message: cable length, then we can make. 3. The voltage isn’t programmable. This 48v controller works with 48v or 52v battery. (from min 40v to max 60v) 4. There are six screw on left cover for install disk. The dia. is 44mm (between two screw holes)

leaf bike 26 inch 48V 1500W rear hub motor wheel kit

Q: I am interested to buy a complete Rear 1500w hub motor wheel ( the latest model with upgraded phase wires, 0.35mm lamination etc).
The model model I think is LBM26481500RN and I would like to know the following before if buy:
– the no load rpm for 4T, 5T and 6T motor at 48v
– and the top speeds under load for 26 inch wheel.
I am looking to have a maximum 55 – 60kph (not less than 55 ) top speed under load but a bit more torque for off road riding.
Also for a electric bike motor with disc brake mount, cassette, temperature sensor and a rim that fits a 2.5 tire is the same price?

A: If not load, 4T 1500w 26 inch hub motor is about 72kmh (work at 48v)
If not load, 26 inch 1500w 5T is about 60kmh (work at 48v)
We can make cassette case motor with 2mm phase wire. But we still recommend standard version with thread screw with 2.5mm phase wire.
Also,standard version is easy to install than cassette case..
* With disc brake mount, cassette,temp,rim fit for 2.5 tire – The same price.
We recommend: with disc brake, standard version (No cassette version),temp,rim fit for 2.5 tire.

Q: can you please send me a more precise data (numbers) about the rpm @ 48V for each available wingdings available, like a performance table or similar?
I found on internet different available information for this motor, but their are not consistent, there are also the forums..and each data is different.
I was hopping that you can provide me more figures..
And also,I don’t understand why for the cassette hub the phase wires are 2mm while there are existing on the opposite side ?

A:Thank you so much for the clear explanations, I understood very well now what are the draw backs for each design.
Also, I was looking over the performance datasheet and I suppose that those parameters are for the 4 turn winding I suppose right?
So for the 5T the maximum rpm with be lower and torque a bit higher. Also the max efficiency point will be at a lower rpm.
Good, so if I want to place an order for a 5T 1500W 26 inch Rear hub motor kit wheel with the following requirements:
disc mount
threaded sprocket
temp sensor
135 mm drop out
26 inch Rim for 2.5 tire (23-25 mm wide rim)
12 gauge spokes

A: Yes. That 4 turn winding.
If 5T, the max rpm with be lower and torque a bit higher.
26 inch wheel, we recommend 5T
Standard rear 1500w 5T with the following requirements
* can install disk the left side of motor
* can install threaded sprocket on the right side of motor
* with temp
* fit for 135mm dropout
* We have 26 inch out.size 25mm or out.size 32mm wide rim (Our 32mm rim is fit for 26 inch)
Please click below sites.
I think 26 inch all black color rim is fit for your 2.5 tire.

about 1000w and 1500w electric hub motor

I am part of a team what will be competing in an ECO marathon challenge. That means we will be building a vehicle that will compete with other teams. The most efficient vehicle will win the prize!

We are building a three wheeled car, driven with a hub motor used as mid-drive motor. I have been a member of the Endless-Sphere group for very long and knew that the Leaf 1500Watt hub motor is the best in therm of efficiency.

So my question is, is it possible to get the hub motor for a cheaper price (free shipping) in exchange for some stickers we will put on our vehicle? Let me know if you have any interest in sponsoring our build/team! If you have any questions feel free to email me back, I will get back at you as soon as possible!

Could you tell us what winding options are available for the 1000Watt electric bike motor (Item ID #LBM481KRNC) and the 1500Watt electric bike motor (Item ID #LBM481500RNC).
We are looking to find out what hub motor is the most efficient on a voltage of 48Volts.

So could you tell us the max RPM, per winding option (1000watt and 1500watt) at 48Volt?

We would like to compare each different electric bike motor(1000/1500watt and different winding options) in a simulator.
The simulator we are using to compare each hub motor is an online simulator

To simulate all the different electric bike motor options and windings we need some parameters from each motor 1000watt and the 1500watt. Is it possible to provide us these motor parameters, so we can run a simulation on the 1000watt motor with different windings and on the 1500watt with different windings?

What would be the max RPM of a hub motor with those options (20 inch 1000w cassette and disk brake)?
And what would be the turn count?
Thickness of laminations? Will it have the same efficiency as the 4Turn 1000watt motor?

fat electric bike motor

With regards to this product 20 inch 48v 2000w rear hub motor beach snow fat tire bike conversion kit.Will my existing battery and brakes work?I have a 48V 14.5 AH battery and hydraulic brakes.
What about hills? Will it work for that too? Also will I be able to use a 52v electric bike battery on that hub motor controller?
Also my current bike, the display has buttons for me to turn on my headlight and tail light, would your system be compatible to turn on and off my headlight and tail lights?
Does that switch plug and play or do i have to splice into the lights and into the controller? I want to use the same battery.
Do you sell just the motor? Maybe I can just plug it into my existing harness and controller?
Also question peter, I heard geared hub motors have more torque off the line than direct drive gearless?

Your 48v 14.5ah battery can drive it work on flat road.
Also,you can use your hydraulic brakes.
If battery’ s current is 30amp or larger 50amp.. can uphill easier..

Work with your 52v battery.
This controller work with 48v battery (min 40v to max 60v) – 52v still 48v battery, just full charged 48v battery up to 52v or more.
Have to splice into lights and battery. Very easy.
Don’t into controller.
Sell just the hub motor is okay. But not sure if works with your controller.
Recommend order motor & controller and other bike parts together.

Now nearly all geared hubs are 250w,max 500w small power.. fit for Europe
We also have these motors.

1000w,2000w geared hub motors are be eliminated by the market.
* too much noise
* low efficiency
* easy to wear gears

Nearly all 1000w,1500W,2000w,3000w e-bike,e-motorcycle use brushless gearless hub motors.

replace 16 inch hub motor wheel

I have a electric scooter similar to this.The dimensions of the e-scooter are very suitable for driving around in city traffic but the hub motor is too whimpy. It is about 350 watts and I…well, shall we say that I weigh a bit more than the average Chinese person, and I often carry large boxes of things that really dog the bike down. I want to replace the present 48v motor with a 48v 1000w motor. I will be in the US next week, so I can pick it up then and bring it back. The wheel size is 16″. I want to be able to put disc brakes on the rear, as well as a sprocket to mount the chain on the left side. I also hope that I can mount 3″ tires on it. Do you have such a thing? Can you conversion kits be mounted on a 16″ rim? I also need a controller for the motor and hope to find one that regen capability, cruise control and reverse.

We recommend our 16 inch 48v 1000w rear hub motor kit.

The 16 inch electric bike kit combines the full E-bike technology: direct drive Brushless Gearless high torque hub Motor to change almost every bicycle into a personal electric bike. Save energy, protect environment and save money with a lot of fun.

sensorless brushless hub motor at low speeds

Sensorless brushless hub motor at low speeds and easy low-frequency vibration. Vibration frequency and load and drive performance, generally considered the vibration frequency is half the frequency of the hub motor load off. By the sensorless brushless hub motor that works the low-frequency vibration determined by the normal operation of the machine is very negative. When working at low speed sensorless brushless hub motor, generally should be used to overcome the low-frequency vibration damping phenomena, such as the increase in the damper motor, or drive on the use of segmentation techniques. AC servo motor is running very smoothly, even at low speed vibration will not occur. AC servo system with a resonance suppression, can cover the lack of mechanical stiffness, and function within the system has a frequency analysis (FFT), can detect mechanical resonance point, easy system tuning.

29 inch electric hub motor kit have problems with the cassette

I ordered the 48v 1500W electric bike kit, with cassette.
I have problems with the cassette, the cassette is wider than where the dropouts sit around the axle.
So the hub motor wheel with the cassette on is wider than 135mm.
My bike frame is 135mm, and the website said it would fit on a 135mm frame.
When the cassette is on the hub motor wheel and i put the electric bike motor wheel on the bike, the frame grinds against the cassette when I tighten the electric bike motor wheel.
I have made it work using spacers so it spins freely, but the wheel is offset to one side now and i think my frame is spread wider. It is an aluminium frame.
Also the website said max 7 speed gear, but the cassette is for a 9 speed gear, which is also mounted now, is it suppose to be able to take a 9 speed gear, or is that an accident?
Any advice on what to do?
Also, any advice on mounting the torque arms? My frame is aluminium.

Steel is okay.But Aluminium is not good to make it larger. We worry if make aluminium frame to larger will break frame.
We recommend use 7 speed or 6 speed or single speed..

I would like to order a rear 48v 1500w hub motor wheel

I really like (love) your hub motors (they perform really well and last a long time) and now I have the time to get the one I always needed.
And here is a very similar bike which also has a 1000W option rear hub motor this one has multiple speeds, most probably 7.
I have asked the rear dropout widths. Will get back to you as soon as I know. And I have a steel frame with a 145mm dropout now which I can widen. I do not 100% understand the trade offs that you are referring to when you say that the rim doesn’t matter, it is the 3 inch tire that is the issue for this hub motor as the same electric bike motor would also go into a wider dropout fat bike which also has an even wider tire – 4 inches. I need more details to understand it more clearly.
And there are other options at the front end of the chain where we can move the chain out a bit:

1. the little chain guide can help – this is mounted to the seat tube to push out the chain from the frame and tire
2. move bottom bracket out to the right
3. or get a bottom bracket with a longer spindle
4. or add spacers between the crank and chaining

What hub motor do you use for your 2000w and higher power fat bike applications? What would I need to change to make any motor work?

I see that the 2000w electric bike motor is 74mm wide which is only 4 mm wider than the 1500w hub motor. I have attached some new pics of my bike from different angles so that you can see how much clearance I have and if I just go with a single speed setup, I will have enough clearance for the chain but in case I need to get additional clearance, I do have some options mentioned previously. So my question now is would a wider or higher power motor work better? I see that the 1500w motor works with dropouts of between 135 and 155mm. And then the 2000w one begins at 170mm. I can widen my dropout and since I won’t be needing the space of a 7 speed cassette, I should be able to have the chain clearance I need.

sensorless brushless hub motor power grid conditions

sensorless brushless hub motor power grid conditions

Empty factory electronic control system of a power station from the higher blood pressure, voltage 6kV, step-down station outlet side of the maximum and minimum short-circuit capacity: Smax = 230MVA, Smin = 130MVA; Buck branch voltage power distribution station to empty rooms distance 400m, 185mm2 copper power cables from the two parallel transmission, converted to an empty factory 6kV cable into the line at the maximum and minimum short-circuit capacity:

Sbsmax = Sj / (Sj / Smax + XL) = 212.31 MVA
Sbsmin = Sj / (Sj / Smin + XL) = 123.46 MVA

Where Sj-base capacity, take 100MVA
XL-cable reactance per unit, XL = 0.041 Ω

Therefore, the empty factory 6kVA bus minimum and maximum capacity: Sbsmax = 212.31MVA, Sbsmin = 123.46 MVA; empty factory 6kVA single bus segment bus is running, 3700kW motor connected to the higher level bus segment Ⅰ, Ⅰ pre-bus segment connected load reactive power: Qx = 2.10MVA.

electric bike motor kit – error 01

Before less than one year, I bought electric bike motor kit from you.
Everything is perfect. But today, when I am went to ride, so LCD started writing error. Exactly error 1 , what is fault of twist throttle.
The throttle is always in full position what means that bike still accelerate. I attached photos. I already have behind me exactly thousand kilometers and i started ride from June.

I tried find out where is mistake and I have suspicion that hall sensor inside of throttle is dead. Supply voltage (black+red) is 4,32V what is ok, but output voltage (blue) is in basic position of throttle is 2,0V and full position of throttle is 2,7V. (I don’t know right values)
Can you help me with this problem, please?

Please press “up” to make it be “1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5”
Can’t be 0
There is a “ 5 or 4 or 3 or 2 or 1 or 0” on the Left side of LCD.
* Be “0” – throttle & pedal assist NOT work.
* Be “1” – throttle works (If install pedal assist, pedal about 3 circels,then can drive motor to work)
* Be “2” – throttle works (If install pedal assist, pedal about 2.5 circels,then can drive motor to work)
* Be “3” – throttle works (If install pedal assist, pedal about 2 circels,then can drive motor to work)
* Be “4” – throttle works (If install pedal assist, pedal about 1.5 circels,then can drive motor to work)
* Be “5” – throttle works (If install pedal assist, pedal about 1 circels,then can drive motor to work)

If NOT install that pedal assist, ONLY use throttle to drive electric bike motor. But Should be 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5.(Be 0,turn off throttle)

Disconnect throttle plug..

Always press “down”, if motor works with walk speed.. everything is good that means replace a throttle can solve it.

I tried find a mistake, and I have suspicious on bad magnet inside a throttle, hall sensor is fine, I had him out and he worked good, but if I put him back to throttle, so his behavior is unpredictable.

I think that cable and hall sensor is ok, but last thing is magnet, maybe he lost magnetic..
