question about BLW-20B 20 inch electric hub motor

Your E-bike company may just be what I’ve been looking for a while now, though I have a least another set of questions before I attempt to make a purchase to ship over.

I am working on spec-ing out some parts for an electric-vehicle project. I am hoping to build it soon, but I need some information about the hub motor model:BLW-20B. Please see my questions below:
The power rating on the electric bike motor says 1500~5000W. Does this mean there is a range of options I can specify? Does this mean this hub motor will function on this whole spectrum and my electric bike motor controller will determine what the actual power load is?

Is there a product manual for this piece of equipment?
The electric bike batteries I am looking at are rated for a 3000W hub motor. Will these be sufficient?
I am looking for a recommendation on the hub motor controller for this electric bike motor. Could you recommend a part?

We can make this 20 inch hub motor to be 48V 1500W, 48V 2000W, 48V 2500W.
Also, this electric bike motor can work at 60V,72V hub motor controller & electric bike battery… If works at 72V, it can reach 5000W

We have this programmable hub motor controller that can fit for this electric bike motor.(This hub motor controller can work 40V ~ 100V)

Headlight 1000w rear electric bike kit

Q: I bought the 26 inch rear 1000 watt electric bike kit how do you wire the headlights to it I see a headlight display on the LCD screen and a switch for the headlights but no wiring diagram for that.

A: How to use three button switch?
1.We cut off that blue wire. It’s for reverse. If reconnect this blue wire. (Reverse is dangerous for e-bike. So we cut off blue wire)

This yellow button be left / middle, hub motor works forward. Be right side, motor works bacwkard / reverse…

2.Green button is used to control cruise, while hub motor is running, also over some speed, example: over 1/3 max speed,at this time, press green button one time, then loose throttle,LCD display “C”,motor will works the same speed. Re-press this green button one time or press brake lever or turn throttle to max, motor will stop

3.Red button be up,regen on. Be down, regen off. This regen is not strong.Only while braking with a little regeon.

Q: I appreciate your help in this matter is there anyway I can get a copy of the proper settings for the P and C settings on the LCD for the 48 volt rear hub motor kit.

I understand that but when I was trying to set. I’m afraid I opened the P settings and then went into the P settings before I realize what was going on I’m scared I might have changed something is there any way to get a copy of the P and C settings or will a factory reset work if there is any possible way to get a copy of what the p and c settings are supposed to be so I can double-check them it would be greatly appreciated.

A: P1 = 46
P2 = 0
P3 = 1
P4 = 0
P5 = 15

Q: My battery management chip on my battery was not plugged in all the way so I think that may have been the problem I’m charging it all the way up now I appreciate it though thank you very much just out of curiosity is there anyway you can get me the C settings for that 1000W rear hub motor kit .

question of 1500w front hub motor

First question: do you already have 1500W front hub motor for disk brake?
What is dropout width? If still no front disk brake version, please find order below.

We need 20 of these torque plates in our order.
Please send us:
1. part number of torque plate
2. dimensions/drawing of torque plate (thickness, length, hole shape,…)
3. cost of torque plate
I will adjust purchase order with this information.
Also, I requested side cover painted black.

We can make one kind of 1500w front hub motor with disk. (Have all motor parts in stock)
It’s nearly the same to below picture and drawing.(The cable comes from shaft end.. But ONLY max use 2mm high temp phase wires)2mm high temp phase wires is also fit for 1500W.

First question: we don’t have 1500w front hub motor for disk.. ( The reason is 1500w is thick, even use disk brake cover, still no room to install disk on it for 100mm dropout. What’s the dropout of your fork?

Dropout is 100mm. For future production, we can increase dropout width:
– this order we will do without disk brake

We found we can’t supply all black color cover in short time.
The reason is:
* This 1500w front motor use 3mm phase wire
* cable should comes center of shaft (Not from shaft end, if shaft end,max use 2mm)
* So must use that kind of black with silver cover.(last sample)
* we have this black with silver cover in stock. (last sample)
* If re-paint this black with silver cover be all black, may not good look.
* If re-make six cover should wait long time until used out this black with silver cover.

Re-paint black is faster.

Please repaint black with silver cover to full black (black with silver is not acceptable for European customer). What is additional lead time for painting of stock covers? For next year, we can discuss proper solution with on time ordering. Also, can you please look into my questions about CAD?For this development, please send us CAD design (STEP file) of 1500W motor with

– 3mm phase cable in between dropouts
– 34mm wide body
– new shaft (14 or 16mm?)
– final drop out width (110mm? 115mm?)

Please keep order as before:
– black side covers
– no disk brake

We will do disk brake as a separate development with:
– new fork design
– proper disk caliper integration
– 3mm wire inside drop out
– torque arm integration into fork
– 3mm phase cable in between dropouts
– 34mm wide body
– new shaft (14 or 16mm?)
– final drop out width (110mm? 115mm?)

Question about 16 inch electric hub motor kit

Q:I thank you very much for UPS tracking number. The parcel should be delivered to me these days. Perfect.

Anyhow – I have one question regarding capable Li-Ion-battery pack for “16 inch, 36 V, 250 W front hub motorelectric bike kit, Item No. LBCK1636250F” which you shipped to me.
I have already one Li Ion-Battery pack; 36 V, 504 W, 14 Ah. Is that Li-Ion-Battery pack suitable for using with E-Motor I ordered from you?

A: Just connect your battery to our controller, it works.

Q: You shipped to me in Oct. 2018 “16 inch, 36 V, 250 W front hub motor-electric bike kit, Item No. LBCK1636250F”.
Today first, after buy of kick bike scooter (not pedelec), I install complete kit on my kick bike scooter and it works not. Display works normally (battery indicator full) but it is no E-Motor Watt-indication and no E-Motor reaction after switch on gas-accelerator (speed adjustment not 0 but 1 till 5).
After check of all delivered Parts from your Company and received Datasheet, I discovered some discrepancies:

1. Which voltage has E-Hub Motor, 36 V or 24 V ? (See attachment Page 2/6 and Page 3/6 as well as Page 4/6 with Photo1)
Remark: Delivered E-Motor has no technical dates described on the motor alone.
2. “Cruise button (red/green as shown on the Page 4/6 its other one; See Photo 2)
3. Delivered controller has another dimension as shown on page 4/6; See Photo 3)
4. Which are correct installations codes to be installed for P1 till P5 and C1 till C14?

Awaiting your response asap of the above questions and your statement above delivered kit. Thanks in advance.

A: controller works with 36v battery (min 30v to max 42v)

Please check if there is “-O-“ on the middle/ top of screen.. If have, the system is braking… please disconnect brake lever’s plug or make brake lever’s ring be back. Then motor works.

Please check the blue wire of three button switch if cut off. If cut off blue wire, that’s okay.. If no blue wire cut off, must push the yellow button the other side, motor works. (The yellow button on your picture that works backward status. This motor Not support backward status. So not work)

larger capacity hub motor controller

This paper describes the business 6kV power supply, short-circuit capacity in the grid smaller and larger capacity hub motor controller case, the choice of starting the program, starting the design calculations, analysis and identification, and start driving in the actual assessment and other data.

Many of China’s mining industry is the use of the power supply system voltage 6kV power distribution, power line in the 6kV power distribution, electrical equipment if there is a large capacity (2000kV more) hub motor controller, the motor starting process, the voltage will produce greater volatility, will directly affect the quality of power supply and electric power line the normal operation of other electrical equipment and service life, this is not an option. To solve this problem, the design of the electric motor often used to reduce the voltage of the way start. Therefore, in the design, must be based on network conditions, starting large hub motor controller for starting the calculation, verification, select the correct start method and reasonable starting equipment.

AC servo-systems and hub motor controller

With the all-digital AC servo-systems, hub motor controller is also increasingly used in digital control systems. In order to meet the development trend of digital control, motion control systems they use stepper motors or full digital hub motor controller as executive motor.

As an open-loop stepper hub motor control systems, and modern digital control technology are intrinsically linked. In the current domestic digital control system, the stepper motor is widely used. With the all-digital AC servo-systems, hub motor controller is also increasingly used in digital control systems. In order to meet the development trend of digital control, motion control systems they use stepper motors or full digital hub motor controller as executive motor. While both are similar in the control (pulse train and direction signal), but the performance and applications in use there is a big difference.

general request for information

I just bought a gas moped (49cc) and plan to convert it to electric. It looks like I’ll need at least 1500W rear hub motor, although I’m willing to go higher if needed (2000W?). Someone on a forum indicated that you do custom windings and I should reach out to you, but I’m not an engineer and can only describe how I’ll use the moped – I can’t offer what specs are best, or if this is within what you can offer.

I would prefer a solid wheel (no spokes) but on your site those only go to 1000W hub motor?

The original moped rear wheel is 17″ with a M62 3-17 tire. I haven’t removed the tire to get the exact fork distance, but I think it is around 175mm

I don’t need a high top speed, 20 mph maximum and mostly I will be in the 0-10 mph range. However, it will be constantly going up and down hills, including several hundred feet of about 15 degree incline. So, I need good low-speed torque.

I weigh about 200 lbs, and the moped (and the tools I’ll be carrying) adds another 100-150 lbs.

This will never be used on public roadways, only on my farm. I live in the USA.

I haven’t started looking at controllers or batteries yet. My first step is to identify the best hub motor option, then I can worry about the rest.

Three-phase asynchronous hub motor controller works

Three-phase asynchronous hub motor controller works
Master formula n1 = 60f / P, S = (n1-n) / n1, n = (1-S) 60f / P, at the same time understand their significance (very important), to be able to make flexible use of these formulas to calculate. Also remember: Usually bldc motor driver at rated load slip SN is about 0.01-0.06. Book to focus on the example grasp.

(1) Model: grasp the book’s examples.
(2) Rating: general knowledge, to master the rated frequency and rated speed, our frequency is 50 Hz.
(3) Connection method: a Y-shaped and angle.
(4) Insulation class and temperature rise: the definition of control allows the temperature rise.
(5) work: general understanding.

Master the rated torque, maximum torque and starting torque relationship. The formula to master the book and be flexible calculated. Bearing in mind the following:
(1) in constant rotation, hub motor controller and the resistance torque of the torque must be balanced.
(2) When the load torque increases, the initial instant hub motor driver torque T (3) the general three-phase asynchronous hub motor driver overload factor is 1.8-2.2.
(4) hub motor controller had just started n = 0, s = 1.

The difference between ordinary motor controller and hub motor controller

The difference between ordinary motor controller and hub motor controller

Generally refers to the hub motor controller. Brush DC motor controller stator magnet (or excitation coil), the rotor of the coil. As the current need to enter the rotation of the coil and the coil rotated 180 degrees due to be exchanged once the direction of the current flowing through the coil, therefore, used for brush DC motor controller connected to the body coil and current. Reversing the direction of switching bodies with a commutator and brush composition.

A hub motor controller generally coils on the starter by the rotation axis of the magnet mounted on the output drive shaft work. To solve the current problem for the use of Hall devices measured magnet pole position, the control circuit to external change, to change the current direction.
Hub motor controller because there are no brushes, long life, motor controller structure has been simplified.

bike motor controller torque performance

bike motor controller torque performance in speed and excellent performance is due to change by the coil – in order to prove the authenticity of my first published the theory – by reversing the coil is hub motor controller, by reversing the phase AC motor. By changing the coil to the premise of achieving the rotating magnetic field in the rotating among each of the stator magnetic pole corresponding to the current conductor always flow in one direction. “Replaced with the current tracker commutator and brush,” the conductor of the stator current direction is always tracking the rotor poles, can achieve zero speed to rated speed constant torque swing speed, and there is no torque ripple, inverter can be completely eliminated governor, governor of the chopper transformer will be popular in the world.

Installed on the synchronous motor synchronous brushless commutator can not be called bike motor controller, the scientific community of distorting the facts, because it is the by-phase commutation – is the AC motor, it can never find hub motor driver torque performance and speed performance.

Rotating magnetic field hub motor driver, with the durability of induction motor and rotating armature hub motor driver torque performance in speed performance, is the most perfect performance of the motor, speed control will not produce direct current transformer harmonic pollution in power, speed cost is very low. It can be raw materials for manufacturing into a more limited market value of commodities, will become the goose that lays the golden eggs, the entire motor industry will lead to a revolution, the rotating magnetic field hub motor driver to the power of today’s IGBT IEGT capacity, single power to do 50000KW is easy. Engaged in electrical research staff to look at my town scientific and technological achievements, we know that all this is true.
